2020 Merriment Tree
Dedicated to First Responders

The Board of Directors at Merriment is dedicating the 2020 tree to the community’s first responders – the police, fire, healthcare workers, food service employees and essential workers who keep all in the community safe and fed and cared for each day.

The tree will be lit up after the 2020 Thanksgiving Holiday for all to enjoy, but without the community gathering. Read more here.

2020 Fund Raising Cancelled

The Merriment Board chose to cancel fund raising for 2020, as it is not appropriate to ask the community for money in these times when donations are better spent on those truly in need. Fortunately, due to the generosity of Merriment sponsors and supporters in the past, there are enough reserve funds available to pay for this year's tree and its installation and decoration.

See photos of the 2019 tree lighting.

Please come see our 2020 tree safely.

A big thanks to The Reporter for their extra support, to Summit Crane and Vacaville's City Public Works crews for getting this year's tree in place, and to I-80 Forklift and our volunteers for making the tree sparkle and shine.
